Off with the Old and on with the New

Well its been a strange year for me. I've moved from the only home I'd ever known and am happily in a relationship thats lasted longer than a few months.

I know a few of you have had hard times this year and I hope that 2009 will be better for you all.

I wonder what next year will bring.....

Well

Well I hope everyone had a happy christmas and ate and drank loads. I had a lovely christmas day with my sister and her family. Got a little bit tipsy and fell asleep for most the afternoon lol.

My mum has bought me a new mobile. I cant get the back off it to put sim in so need to go to shop now ffs. Talk about ridiculous. Ive tried for hours and the thing just wont come off!!

I am home now and intend to have a lazy weekend in preparation for Rob coming down next weekend. I cant wait to see him. I was ill last time he was due and had to cancel. Its been ages since he was here and Ive missed him terribly.

My nephew Leland was 2 on Saturday. I would post pics but I havent got any. My camera is broken and no one thought to send me any of theirs.

On the mend!

Well I finally managed to get a full nights sleep. Hopefully these antibiotics the doctors put me on are doing the trick and I'm on the mend. I cant remember ever being this ill before. Ive not eaten properly for a week either. This doesnt worry me as I've plenty of reserves to live on lol.

Oh well

Rob was supposed to be here today. I was meant to be happily waiting for him to arrive, instead I spent my day at the doctors getting antibiotics for what she called *a little cough* I hate doctors, patronising cow she is!!

I cannot sit for long on the pc cos for some reason it starts me coughing so I have just watched Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thornton. Now that is my kind of christmas film!!! Fantastic!!!

Boohooo

I always go and watch my nieces in their christmas plays. This year I missed both due to illness. I am miserable as hell .... fanx

I am really sick. Havent felt this bad for years. I'm so bad I've had to cancel Robs visit on Friday. I am gutted!!!

Nothing much

Nothing much has happened lately. I'm busy buying stuff for Xmas and I've visited my sister a few times as per usual.

Leland either calls me Donna or Dinna. I must say hes very cute. He shouts run for no particular reason, runs on the spot for 3 seconds before taking off at a toddlers full pelt. He totally cracks me up!!!!

Anyone wishing for a christmas card from me, must email me their address as I am terrible at looking after such things and have lost most of them :-) I think I have Julies, Sallys and Debs but any others are long gone I'm afraid.

Sunday tomorrow .... I hate Sundays!!!!!

Quiet

Its been quite a busy weekend for a change really.

I visited my sister on Saturday and had a lovely time. My dad and brother popped up the afternoon and bedlam reigned supreme in my sisters tiny flat. Four children of various ages running around screaming their heads off gave me a lovely headache but Freddie has been ill and hadnt seen the girls and Leland for over 3 weeks, so it was to be expected I suppose.

Yesterday we all paid our weekly visit to mothers house. Well, I say we, but my step dad and brother in law disappeared virtually as soon as I got there to look at new cars. My sister and her family will soon take possession of a blue renault Espace (I think thats what it is anyway). Plenty of room for all and no more being squashed in the back of the Volvo for the kids.

Today I met my mum and sister in town for some retail therapy. I didnt actually buy much at all. I bought my sister some boots for christmas and thats it lol. Wasnt really anything that I wanted in any of the shops. Hastings really is the pits when it comes to decent shopping. Most people travel to Eastbourne or Brighton nowadays. If theyre really adventurous then its Tunbridge Wells or Ashford. Needless to say I dont go to either except for the very rare occasion.

On a happier note, Robs coming back in a few weeks and we're gonna do some christmas shopping together. I can't wait!!!

Oh and Karen, I already use Firefox for facebook and I bookmark nests but I still never find anything. I swear I'm jinxed on that game lol.

ARGHHHHHH

Well, I have been ill for most of the week. I havent been out of the flat so I've been playing on facebook. Now, some of you know that I am addicted to Hatchlings on there and I have been searching for eggs virtually non-stop all week. Have I found the new eggs? NO!!! I am mad as hell. I found one and have kindly been given two but I still have to find three more!!!. What does it take to find these eggs? A whole week of searching and I come up empty but a some of my Hatchling friends find them all straight off. I could scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Germs!

I am ill. I have a sore throat, headache and I'm coughing my guts up! Rob has been ill as well and I'm wondering whether its possible to catch illnesses via personal messages on the internet now lol. I think I have caught some of his germs!!

I must also add that my dear friend Jen from near Liverpool is in hospital. I cant go into details but it could be a while till shes out. I spent a wonderful weekend with her a couple of months ago and I think the world of her. She is a lovely lady with a heart of gold.

Misery Guts

I'm having another down moment. I cant seem to pull myself together and feel like crying all the time. What I need is a night out, getting totally pissed and having a good laugh. Alas, this isnt gonna happen cos Ive got no friends so I'm stuck being a misery guts for now!!

I hate people who are full of self pity dont you??? lol

I do not like Wednesdays.

I have had a cold all day and tonight is Robs college course so I dont get to see him. Did I mention that I hate Wednesdays?

Hmmmm

I know I've said this before but tonight I have been chatting on Paltalk to my dear friend Kem. He said no one online would care if he died tomorrow. This upset me cos I consider him a mate and I would miss him.

It has got me thinking again though. How many would notice if one of their online friends suddenly disappeared???

It sounds strange cos I do have my Rob now but the chatrooms on the internet are kinda like my social life. I dont have any friends here and I rarely go out. It upsets me to think that the friends I have on here might not notice if I wasnt here anymore.

Time goes by so fast!

This time last week I had just met Rob from Hastings Station. How quickly has that week passed? It doesnt seem possible!

I wish it was last week again :-(

Bonfire Parade

Hastings had the annual Bonfire Parade on Saturday. It was great fun and street vendors were selling these pink bunny ears which had flashing lights inside them. Dont I look fab? lol

Sadness

I have had the loveliest weekend.

Rob is now on his way home and I am very very sad. I miss him already!!!

Arghhhhh

Well my period is here with a vengeance and I'm sure you all wanted to know that haha!!!

I did however, manage to go into town yesterday and buy the new Keane album. Its great!!!! I really like them and not just cos theyre local lads either.

Today I have been grocery shopping and Morrisons was packed! I am so glad to be home. I am gonna sit with a cup of coffee and do a bit of egg hunting on Facebook.

Robs here on Friday. I am so excited!!!!

Another weekend

I got up extra early yesterday to go into town. My nieces were in the opening ceremony of Hastings week and I never miss any of their parades. The parade consisted of groups of Rainbows, Brownies, Cubs and Scouts walking behind a small band of Bagpipes, the few hundred metres to the town hall and listening to the mayors speech. Took all of 15 minutes tops but the girls looked gorgeous!!

Today is Sunday and I hate Sundays. They are sooo boring!! I am also due on and my tummy is niggly so I am gonna go lay on the sofa and watch Mary Poppins on ITV3!!

I've heard from Sally today and shes going home tomorrow. She will need to go back in for tests.

My life is so exciting!

Well Like I said in my last entry, I went grocery shopping today. Boring!!! We got stuck in a traffic jam in Morrisons carpark for 3 quarters of an hour!! And why? Because a set of traffic lights had stopped working.

I waited in for the gas man, who turned up at 2pm. Not exactly the most interesting person to talk to either. I nearly fell asleep standing up. Talk about a boring voice. I caught myself nodding off several times.

I cooked tuna pasta bake for my tea and phoned to see how my mum is. Shes spent the day in bed and is going to see the doctor about her dizzy spell yesterday.

I have also heard from Sally today. She was due to have a scan today put the hospital have put it off until tomorrow. She is utterly fed up bless her.

Oh and in 10 days time my beloved will be here and I cant wait!!!! woohoooo!!!!!

Typical

I have just found out that my mum had a dizzy spell whilst in town today!!! No one bothered to let me know when it happened. I sometimes wonder whether I'm a part of this bloody family. I'm grateful my sister told me. My stepdad didnt!!!!!!

Blah Blah Blah

Well I have done all my housework. I even cleaned the oven *urgh*

I am addicted to Hatchlings on Facebook and as hard as I try to resist, I'm afraid I am very weak. I have spent most the afternoon on there looking for Halloween eggs. Have I found many? NO!!!!

Tomorrow I shall mainly be going grocery shopping and then in the afternoon I will be waiting for the Gas man to inspect the boiler!

Oh, Sally update!!! She was having tests today but so far I have no further news apart from the fact she was in fine spirits yesterday. I texted her and she said she is bored and missing Paltalk lol.

Tired

Today I have been into town with my sister and her kids to get shoes. Well, Emily needed new school shoes already and Hannah and Leland needed some new trainers. Hannah is very like me when it comes to shoes. She wanted every pair she saw despite knowing she was only getting trainers lol.

We had lunch out and then went back to my sisters flat to await a visit from my dad and little brother. They duly arrived and stayed for a few hours and I stayed for a sumptious Roast Chicken dinner!!

I have to say the weather has been awful here today. Its windy, rainy and freezing cold. Glad I didnt have to get the bus home. I would have got soaked!!!

I havent had any updates on Sally today but will blog as soon as I hear something.

Had some upstting news this morning. My wonderful friend SallyB is in hospital with Liver trouble. All my love and best wishes go out to her and her family.
